Welcome to the Mobile Business Expo New York 2008 Media Center! Here you will find helpful information to guide you through the press registration process as well as other media resources.

***For the first time ever, Mobile Business Expo New York 2008, Interop, VoiceCon and OutsourceWorld will all unfold under one roof in New York, for the most comprehensive look at the technologies and strategies that are leading the trillion dollar business technology industry.

As a "Thank You" to all of our media representatives who register for Mobile Business Expo New York 2008, we have now opened press access to Interop, VoiceCon and OutsourceWorld, happening simultaneously at the Javits Center October 22-26. By registering as press, you automatically gain complete press access to all events, for an unprecedented look to the most powerful innovations and solutions the industry has to offer.

Press Registration Information

Press registration is now open to industry media representatives and analysts. If you wish to attend Mobile Business Expo New York 2008 as press please review the required credentials below.

Required Credentials for Press and Analysts

To qualify for a complimentary media pass for Mobile Business Expo New York 2008, the applicant must cover the industry on a regular basis by writing regular reports or publishing relevant articles on the industry that are not solicited by an exhibiting company and are not confidential. Private consultants who are paid by an individual company are not eligible for a media pass, and should request a pass from the sponsoring company. Additional information on requirements for press and analysts is as follows.

One of the following credentials must be presented in advance of Mobile Business Expo before press and analyst registration can be approved:

Trade/Business Publications; Online/News Services

Reporters from industry trade publications, newspapers and wire services must provide a sample of an article published within the past six months that clearly displays authorship.

Industry Analysts

Writers from internationally recognized market research or financial institutions who consistently write for regularly published newsletters and/or reports must provide a sample of an industry-related report published within the past six months that clearly displays authorship.

Online News Outlets

An online news outlet must contain original news content above and beyond links, forums, troubleshooting tips and reader contributors, and have a readership of over 1,000 per month. Each news outlet must have a paid reporting staff of two or more and most post original, dated, industry-related news at least once per week.

Association Publications/Newsletters

Reporters from internationally recognized magazines, newspapers or newsletters produced by industry associations must provide an article published within the past six months. Newsletter reporters must have a registered subscriber base of at least 500.

Freelance Writers and Authors

Persons requesting freelance credentials must provide an article published within the past six months. Those who freelance occasionally and are employed by non-news organizations are not eligible for media credentials.

Market Research Titles:

  • Analyst
  • President
  • Program Director
  • Vice President

Note: Press credentials are reserved for editorial staff and analysts. Press credentials will not be issued for publication and research employees with the following types of titles:

We reserve the right to refuse media badges, without cause, during pre-registration as well as onsite media registration. Please be advised that, due to high demand, media badges are limited in number. Only commercial news outlets and major analyst firms will be issued media badges.

Media Center Hours and Briefing Rooms

Meeting rooms for individual press briefings will be available by reservation in the Media Center during the event. You may submit a meeting room request as early as Sept. 17, 2007 by contacting Olivia Loy at . Please include the following information in your request:

The Media Center is located in Room 3D01 on the lower floor of the Javits Center. The Media Center Hours of Operation are Monday, October 22 – Thursday October 25 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Media Center may only be used by registered exhibitors, representatives, press and analysts. For each meeting, one attendee must be registered as press (journalist/analyst) and the other must be a registered exhibitor. For more information, please contact Olivia Loy at .
